Architect Charles Dilbeck has always captured the imagination of Dallas with his charming and well composed architecture that brings out the characteristics of whimsical English cottages and the indigenous qualities of Texas Modern homes. This architecturally significant Charles Dilbeck home at 4676 Lorraine Avenue is reminiscent of 4144 Shenandoah, one of the “Four Sisters” on the corner of Shenandoah and Douglas in University Park. This home at 4676 Lorraine Avenue is designed along the length of the lot to allow sunlight to easily penetrate the home from two directions.
